Technologies In Education - A Place To Connect, Communicate & Collaborate

Technology is part of children's lives which they use to communicate, collaborate, connect, create, innovate, learn, problem solve, entertain and develop their understanding of the world whilst using a vast array of technologies outside the school environment. It is our jobs as educators to embrace the way children learn in their own environments and develop learning acitivities to match their interactive style of learning.

How can we do this?

By making learning active, meaningful, blended and enabling collaboration. This wikispace will show ways that student primary teachers at The University of Dundee's School of Education are embracing technology to take teaching and learning into the 21st Century and prepare our children for their globalised futures.
